HTC U11 official video teaser shows Edge Sense feature, launch set for May 16

The smartphone manufacturer is set to launch its next flagship smartphone on May 16, which will be called the HTC U11. The name has been confirmed by the company on its official Twitter handle a few days ago. HTC U11 ahead of its launch has already been subject to numerous leaks and rumours on the web. A newly leaked teaser of the phone shows the device from all angles.The leaked video teaser doesn’t reveal much details about the HTC smartphone. The teaser shows people squeezing several objects, which reminds us of the Twitter post by HTC which reads: “Squeeze for the Brilliant U”. This basically indicates to the unique gesture system that the device is tipped to come with. The video also shows that HTC U11 will be coming in shiny blue colour. Furthermore, HTC U11 is expected to come with a touch sensitive outer frame which allow users to open an app or launch the camera app, or perform any other functions directly. If that’s the case, the HTC U11 will be the second smartphone to come with Bluetooth 5.0, after the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. In terms of specifications, the HTC flagship smartphone will reportedly come with a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display screen and be further powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor.
