Police officers confirmed a man died after being struck by a lorry on the M6 southbound earlier this morning. The man – who has not been named – was hit by the HGV shortly after 6.15am today (March 14). The southbound carriageway at junction 10 has remained shut for more than five hours until officers from the Central Motorway Policing Group were able to release two lanes. A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We can confirm the incident was a fatality.
